Die Children Medieval Band war gestern in Denver Support Act.
Bei Emu hätte es sowas nie gegeben. Einfach echt super die Knirpse einzuladen.

RAMMSTEIN AT THE DENVER COLISEUMTo my surprise, I ended up going to the Rammstein show here in Denver today. I just… I don’t even know what to say omg. The show was amazing. It was a once in a lifetime thing… It was just so amazing. I’ve been feeling sick lately, my ears are ringing, my left ear is completely plugged, my throat hurts, and my feet hurt, but the concert was totally worth all the pain.
I was under the impression that I wasn’t going to be at the concert tonight since I lacked the money and it was short notice, but one of my friends had an extra ticket and stopped by to take me. Oh my god… She and I are both big Rammstein fans, and we have been waiting to see them since we were barely in middle school. I can’t believe we actually went. Just… Good god. I CAN’T BELIEVE THIS ACTUALLY HAPPENED.
The opening act was pretty neat. It wasn’t like an act as in a full-fledged band, but it was a group of three very young kids from Colorado playing Rammstein songs. They had to be anywhere from three to six years old, but holy fucking shit, they were amazing. They were so good at what they were doing. They played “Sonne” and “Ich will,” and WOW. They were so talented. The little girl on the drums was the youngest and she was just pounding those drums. She was so good. After they played, there was this DJ that came on and played a set of remixed Rammstein songs, and I have to say, he was a damn good DJ. I kind of wanted a copy of his Rammstein remixes, haha.
And then Rammstein themselves came on. They entered the stadium from the side through the hallway and came in carrying the Colorado flag and a Rammstein flag. They walked to a platform in the middle of the arena and then crossed a bridge-type thing to the main stage. I don’t remember the entire setlist, but one of the first songs they played was “Wollt ihr das Bett in Flammen sehen?” They also played “Sehnsucht,” “Du hast,” “Sonne,” “Keine Lust,” “Mein Teil,” “Mutter,” ‘Links 234,” and a bunch of their other singles since this was their Made in Germany tour. There was one part where they went back to the little platform in the middle of the arena to perform “Bueck dich,” and Richard was on the synthesizers during that. I have no idea why he was, but he fucking rocked it. They then played like, three encores. They played “Engel,” “Amerika,” and then some other songs that I honestly can’t remember. But it was amazing. It was so amazing. Just. Wow. There are no words.
I yelled and growled until my voice cracked several times and now it’s sore, haha. I almost threw out my right arm fist pumping too, oops. My feet were so sore and I had to sit down a couple of times because my stomach was bothering (my stomach has been sick plus I’m on my period, so that was exciting). But we actually got pretty good seats. We weren’t close to the stage, but we got a perfect view of it. We could also feel the heat from all of the pyrotechnics that were used, and wow it was just spectacular. For “Engel,” Till wore his giant fire wings and oh my god it was the best. And then the last song they played was “Pussy,” and Till rode the dick cannon across the stage and it sprayed silly string-type fake semen all over the people in the pit. It was so great omg.
Oh my god. I am so glad I got to attend that show. It was so amazing. It was nothing like any of the live DVDs—it was about a million times better. I’m so glad I got to see Rammstein. I am so glad. It was so amazing, and I’m still in awe that it even happened. That was the best concert I have been to thus far. I just. I don’t know what to say. Rammstein was fucking amazing.
^ Wow.
^Ah, ok.
